Author Steven Levy (Hackers: Heroes of the Computer Revolution) has been confirmed as a keynote speaker for The Last HOPE, taking place in New York City July 18, 19, and 20 at the Hotel Pennsylvania.

Levy's book, published in 1984, covered everything from hacker ethics to hacker history and was a defining work of the culture which continues to be referenced to this day. He has also written several books on computers, technology, cryptography, the Internet, cybersecurity, and privacy. In addition, he is chief technology writer and a senior editor for Newsweek and has contributed to a variety of other publications, including Wired.

We look forward to having Steven Levy as a keynote speaker at our conference along with the many other talks and panels that we will be announcing over the course of the next few weeks. We're still accepting submissions for those interested in giving a talk or presentation.
